For alignment’s sake

9:39 PM: Tuesday barre hit the spot, and every muscle in my teeny tiny limbs just right. Honestly can’t recall feeling as connected to my body as a lady as I do now thanks to my superwoman of a preggo instructor! Daily juicing has helped with this serendipitous realignment process a lot. So, too, has these off-brand ashwagandha supplements I’m trying out and teetotaling. Yup! Dry January minus the one-off Château Margaux indulgence still going strong on this end. But that might change when I make my way to the Mark for a late-night bite with a plus-one tonight. I’m neither opposed nor in favor. Though will likely abstain. I feel pretty good about the phone interview I had earlier with the head of HR at this heavily Olympian-backed apparel brand (I was intrigued by their high-end merchandise and the brand’s keen implementation of copy best practices to drive sales). The higher-ups, she ascertained, were vehemently eager to poach me considering my extensive background as an industry leader. It’s a green light from where I stand, save I am agnostic about their ability to afford me as an in-house employee. You never know though! A quick Sephora haul to celebrate the talk (…and the fantastic weather we’re having!) did not disappoint. An investor responded to my pitch suggesting I give this VC firm with a “Raise Capital” program a whirl. Doesn’t hurt to start the dialogue is how I see it. Tomorrow is a Crunchbase day. Also, holding out on a good word from Alisha Prakash at T+L who is reviewing my luxury lifestyle-slash-wellness story that Forbes, NYT Mag, and VF decided against. If rejected, will go back to the drawing board and tailor the angle to other pubs I will hit up. Unrelated, but have so many events coming up this week that my head’s reeling. I haven’t even had the time to peek at my social calendar or RSVP. Hoping tomorrow can see to it. Okay. All for now. Off I go to the Mark! Bis.
